A market leading tier 2 head contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing business.
Projects will be of an Industrial nature up to about $20m; experience with similar projects in these sectors or similar will be an advantage.
Will need to have a minimum of 3 years as a Project Manager and ideally more.
As Project Manager, you will need to have strong commercial acumen, contracts management, bid management, design management, OHS, programming/planning experience as well as running meetings with consultants and subcontractors to provide a high-quality service that will ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design comprehensive project programmes and communicate to teamEnsure construction programmes are followedIdentify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when requiredManage project expenditure and cash flowProvide accurate monthly rolling final account forecastsManagement and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projectsPrice, submit and negotiate variation claimsFull oversight of contracts administrationDesign managementManage set project sustainability objectives from commencement to completionManage OH&S on the projectDeliver and manage client expectationsDeliver on project quality to programmeQualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Engineering or similarMinimum 7 - 15 years+ experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 backgroundProven leadership ability in building and motivating teams to deliver high-quality projectsDetailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements/standardsStrong project financial reporting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal skillsExperience with Microsoft Office suiteConstruction Safety Induction (white) cardThis is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
