About your opportunity
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) is an associate to the Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient/client centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with the Practice Standards as identified by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board.
The EN demonstrates competence in the provision of nursing care under the direction and supervision of the RN and is responsible for his/her actions and accountable for the delegated nursing care provided.
Role requirements:
1. Ability to contribute to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred nursing care under the delegation of the registered nurse/midwife.
2. Ability to work as an effective member within a multidisciplinary team.
3. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families.
4. Ability to use or learn to use information systems appropriate to the position.
5. Ability to demonstrate own ongoing professional development.
Generous pro rata remuneration package (based on full-time equivalent value) up to $86,513 p.a. comprising:
6. Salary range of $35.92 to $38.12 p.h. (Nurse Grade 3)
7. Annual leave with 17.5% loading
8. 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements
9. Qualification: Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
10. Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
11. Successful completion of Certificate III in Sterilisation from an approved training organisation based on nationally accredited competencies or equivalent. If qualification has not been completed, the successful applicant will have 12 months to complete the qualification as a condition of their employment.
12. This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
