Based at our Brisbane office, this role involves the ownership and management of our primary leasing contract on behalf of the BMA Asset.Core Responsibilities:To ensure contract compliance with the BMA Contractor Management Framework (CMF), BHP Charter, Code of Conduct, Global Standards and relevant statutory obligations.Facilitate/attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders to encourage deeper relationships with all supply chain partners.Monitor performance of work under contract at all levels in line with contracted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Escalate contractual issues to relevant stakeholders and coordinate the facilitation and resolution of issues.Manage the documentation and follow a review/approval process for the execution of variation/amendment requests for contracts in accordance with company guidelines.Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to assist with the development of new contracts.Maintain business intelligence of actual spend under contract and forecasting for proactive management of the contract, and ongoing requirements.Drive business for continuous improvement strategies.Maintain and drive compliance with the relevant asset level governance.Performing risk assessments to analyse and identify existing and potential risks inclusive of continuity plans.About YouYou will possess exceptional engagement and collaboration skills in managing stakeholder relationships along with strong commercial/contract acumen. You will have ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Desired Experience and Qualifications:Tertiary qualification desirable but not mandatory (procurement, engineering, business, law) or similar with experience within the mineral resources industry.Solid experience on relationship management with a demonstrated understanding of project services and the mechanics of a panel of contracts.Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, SAP experience and experience in a mature Contract Management System (CMS) is preferred.An understanding of the Queensland Mining Act and Regulations.Demonstrated experience with contract law or contract management.Previous experience within a corporate vehicle leasing role is considered highly desirable however not mandatory.About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
