The business requires a Supply Chain/Logistics Manager on site.Description Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Supply Chain/Logistics Manager coordinates and manages the flow of goods, services, quality, and information throughout the supply chain process. This role involves handling administrative tasks, maintaining inventory records, processing orders, and liaising with suppliers/internal departments to ensure smooth operations. Specifics will include:Order Processing: processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in the details such as quantities, delivery dates, and pricing, and communicating with suppliers.Inventory Management: monitoring inventory levels and coordinating replenishments.Supplier Communication: Be a contact for suppliers, ensuring that orders are delivered on time and resolving any issues related to shipments, quality, or delays.Data Reporting: maintaining accurate records in supply chain management systems or ERP software.Logistics Coordination: scheduling shipments and deliveries, coordinating with shipping companies.Optimisation: identify areas for improvement, such as cost reduction, faster delivery times, and work with Finance, Customer Service, and Sales to determine the most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.Profile You have 2-3 years in a supply chain/logistics leadership role along with a tertiary qualification in a supply chain or business-related field.
