Our client is a global financial institution seeking a Senior Account Manager to join their Outsourced Middle Office team and can be based in either their Sydney or Melbourne locations.
The Middle Office team’s primary purpose is ensuring clients receive high quality Middle Office services, including the execution of daily production to meet KPIs, management of queries, resolution of issues, delivering on client change and continual development of the operating model.
Responsibilities:
* Manage clients escalations and issues for Middle Office.
* Lead Middle Office updates in Client Service reviews and Ops to Ops meetings.
* Building strong collaborative relationships with clients.
* Escalate client issues appropriately for resolution within the broader MO.
* Analysing Client reporting and identifying opportunities for efficiencies and service enhancements.
* Chair the Middle Office Client Forum.
* Support client change and new services initiatives as required.
* Generate ideas for process improvement to systems and processes.
* Adhering to the risk and control framework, including the maintenance and update of internal procedures.
* Manage incident process effectively and within reasonable timeframes.
* Back-up and contingency plans maintained and understood in the event of system outages.
Technical Skills and Experience:
* Over 5 years experience in a similar role.
* 5+ years’ experience in an Account Manager capacity.
* Tertiary Degree – preferably in the areas of commerce and finance.
* Knowledge of the fixed income, equities, foreign exchange and cash & FX markets and corporate actions and derivatives.
* Solid understanding of outsourced Middle Office services.
* Systems knowledge of the following software:
o TradeFlow
o Hi-Portfolio
o Calypso
o IntelliMatch
o MS Word and Excel (intermediary/expert)
o Tradeflow
