Based at our South Brisbane campus, this full-time role is covering parental leave for 12 months.The Team Leader - Operations is responsible for managing the operational requirements of patient foodservices across kitchens at South Brisbane Campus. The primary focus of this role is to ensure high quality, effective and efficient operation of foodservices at South Brisbane with a strong customer focus to deliver organisation and patient outcomes aligned to Mater strategic goals.What you'll be doingReporting to Manager, Food Services, the team leader provides operational advice and information for decisions in regard to patient foodservices and provides leadership to foodservices teams including Food Service Supervisors, Food Service Assistants and Dining Hosts. The team leader is responsible for:Day to day operations of an effective and efficient meal service to all Mater patientsLeadership to the Food Service operations team, including rostering, scheduling and workplace health and safety for foodservice staffEnsuring exceptional standards of customer service provision through Food Services for all Mater patientsReporting on operational budget including resource assets and leave requirements/liabilities for all staff within teamAbout youMust have three (3) years' experience in a leadership or supervisory position and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
