Based at Malaga and reporting to the National Service Business Unit Manager, this challenging role is responsible for providing a service operation that surpasses customer expectations.
Key Deliverables are: Manage and develop a team of Service Technicians in a designated region to ensure high levels of performance and customer service.Monitor and analyze service metrics for the region to identify and address areas for improvement.Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.Oversee all aspects of the service department, including scheduling, staff, and resource allocation.Increase service revenue.Upskill technicians across the business.Manage the team's performance using GPM tool.This is a highly challenging role and will require a motivated and driven approach to manage the various requirements from both internal and external customers. Through your direct reports, you will provide support to technicians, service sales engineers, and service coordinators. Your responsibilities will also include responding to customer service inquiries, managing inventory, and exceeding budget expectations.
You will be strong in leadership, business development with a can-do attitude.
To be successful in this role you must have proven experience in service management, preferably in a technical or engineering environment. You should have demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of service technicians, be experienced in managing tradespeople, possess strong administration skills, and have a high degree of interactive and interpersonal skills. A hands-on approach and a proven capacity to manage time and workload are essential.
