We are looking for an experienced maintenance person to be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities at our timber processing facility located at Mt Gambier. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will be working within the maintenance team and will be responsible for breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, and fabrication projects.Key responsibilities include: Perform repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.Inspect operating machines and equipment for compliance with standards and recommend improvements to enhance performance and condition.Update Maintenance Manager and team on the status of requested maintenance support.Preventive maintenance inspection and closing our Corrective Actions.Carry out hands-on electrical trade and controls work.Ensure electrical safety of all plant and equipment.Carry out electrical testing and tagging as required.Report malfunctions/concerns regarding the physical plant and/or equipment to the Maintenance Manager.Maintain all areas of the Workshop in a tidy and safe condition, ensuring items being worked on do not cause avoidable clutter, or present a hazard to yourself and/or others.Keep all machinery and tools clean, well maintained, and properly stored before leaving at the end of the workday.About you Electrical trade qualification with a demonstrated understanding of PLC – Electrical programming experience an advantage.Experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment; timber experience an advantage.Current registration in accordance with the Plumbers, Gas Fitters and Electricians Act (South Australia).Current High Risk Work Licence (Forklift & EWP).Ability to work day shift, afternoon shift or flexible hours as per operational requirements.Must hold a current Driver's Licence.Must be able to strictly follow all safety procedures.How to apply If this sounds like the role for you, please click the links provided to send us a copy of your resume today.#J-18808-Ljbffr
