Market Access Reimbursement Associate, ANZ

The role is responsible for maintaining and driving all aspects of the Prescribed List (PL) to ensure efficient listing of all S+N products. The role works closely with the Market Access Manager, ANZ and internal business and function team on various projects as required.
What will you be doing?
1. Assist business to develop reimbursement strategies and implement tactics.
2. Handle all aspects of the PL: including the preparation of all proposals for reimbursement through the PL, RPBS and PBS via the appropriate government processes.
3. Produce regular reports on S&N position related to changes to the PBS & PL and overall impacts, including scenario analysis for use in strategic planning and budget planning purposes.
4. Partner with commercial and function stakeholders to understand the business needs, advise evidence strategies.
5. Build the nvitalmaterials required to support evidence and value claims by the company in reimbursement submissions, including tracksupervisingission status and reporting on a project by project basis.
6. Undertake lead of projects or be part of projects which help continuously improve our value proposition and evidence based medicine approach to commercial programmes.
7. Adhere to sound business principals and compliance requirements with all decisions made.
8. Liaise with Marketing and Sales staff, Industry Associations, Government Bodies and others, to ensure new business opportunities are identified and followed through.
What will you need to be successful?
9. Tertiary qualifications in Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. biomedical, healthcare related field, Public Health background etc.) Advanced qualification is desirable, MBA is an advantage.
10. Minimum 5 years in related industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, health care, etc.)
11. At least 2-3 years in reimbursement application handling, MA, HE, HTA or proven experience
12. Knowledge on Local Healthcare System, Health Funding System, current and changing policies and trends.
13. Travel 10-25%
