About the RoleBased at our Yallourn Power Station, the purpose of the Condition Monitoring Technicians is to provide advice for the effective maintenance and operation of Power Station plant and machinery.The team is responsible for the provision of Condition Monitoring services and advice, in addition to general technical support to the site. Duties and Accountabilities Collect and analyse data, and report on plant condition using CM technologies.Provide analysis & technical support for Teams including recommendations for decision making.Highlight and investigate significant variances in performance and cost.Identify improvements in internal processes to deliver solutions for plant issues.Understanding of Life Maintenance Planning and Reliability Centred Maintenance, including whole of life budgeting.Prepare detailed work plans for outages, relating to CM and improvement activities.Develop and implement innovative methods in providing Technical and CM support to both operations and maintenance teams.Manage and collate data collection using business systems (MAXIMO, Oracle, PI etc). About You Associate Diploma/Certificate of Technology or maintenance trade qualifications (desirable, on the job training can be offered).Proven capabilities achieved through experience in a power station or similar industrial environment.Proven ability to use a computer-based maintenance management system (Maximo).Ability to interact with all stakeholders, and strong interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small office based team.Knowledge of maintenance practices and asset management principles as they relate to heavy industry.
