You'll be responsible for all aspects of the site, ensuring the project meets the highest safety, quality, and regulatory standards, especially for temperature-controlled environments required for a meat processing factory.The Role:Manage and coordinate all aspects of the construction of a new meat processing factory, from initiation to completion.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices, specifically for food safety, cold storage, and temperature-sensitive environments.Oversee the construction of cold rooms, tilt panel work, and other essential components of the factory.Supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth, on-time delivery of the project.Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure all requirements are met.Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.Ensure the site adheres to all food safety regulations, including hygiene, cleanliness, and environmental standards.The Ideal Candidate:Proven experience in cold room construction and tilt panel work, particularly in food-related environments.Previous experience in managing projects valued up to $20 million.Open QBCC builder's license is required.A stable work history with long-term tenure in previous roles.A passion for building, with a deep understanding of the construction industry and the specific demands of working in the food sector.Strong work ethic, a dedication to delivering quality work, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues as they arise.Working Hours:Typically a five-day workweek, with occasional weekend work required for specific tasks.Competitive salary between A$200,000 and A$250,000 based on experience and qualifications.How to Apply: If you meet the criteria above and are ready for a rewarding and challenging role with our client, we'd love to hear from you!
