Our client, based in Stapylton, is currently looking for Metal Dection process workers and Team leaders. A metal detection role in food processing is crucial for ensuring food safety and maintaining quality control. We are looking for candiates who are intersted in joing a well established team whom have worked in this envirnment before
The primary responsibilities often include:
* Monitoring and controlling metal detection equipment to identify and remove contaminated products from the production line.
* Conducting regular checks to ensure the detection equipment is calibrated correctly and functioning at peak performance.
* Recording findings, maintaining logs of inspections, and reporting any non-conformities.
* Collaborating with the quality assurance team to ensure all products meet food safety standards.
* Quickly identifying and resolving any issues related to metal contamination or machine malfunctions.
Requirements:
* Experience in food processing is a plus but not required-we provide on-the-job training!
* Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor position
* Strong attention to detail
* Commitment to quality and safety
