About the role
Are you a skilled radiographer with a passion for innovation and excellence in medical imaging? As a CT Specialist Radiographer, you will work with a high level of professional independence, delivering cutting-edge diagnostic services in CT and X-ray to the highest professional standards. Your role will involve contributing to the growth of specialist knowledge in the field, while also sharing your expertise by guiding and mentoring junior radiographers.
In this dynamic and rewarding position, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Head of Modality CT by assisting with the management of physical and human resources, ensuring an effective and coordinated CT service. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in departmental CPD programs, participate in approved research initiatives, and contribute to quality assurance programs. About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional who is ready to bring their expertise in CT and radiography to our dedicated team. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
Exceptional Technical Expertise: Extensive experience as a specialist practitioner in CT and radiography, with advanced knowledge of standard and complex imaging procedures, including those specific to women and children.
Strong Communication and Leadership Abilities: Well-developed written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide professional direction, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the development of medical imaging professionals.
Innovative Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to use initiative and analyse situations to identify opportunities that enhance the value, contributions, and effectiveness of imaging services.
Comprehensive Knowledge Base: Deep understanding of radiographic practices, imaging procedures, RIS, PACS, and workplace policies, including EEO, occupational health and safety, and personnel management standards.
