As a Customer Service & Administrative Operational Support, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers and supporting our executive team with essential administrative tasks. You’ll be trained across our Queensland locations to understand our operations, customer experience, and booking systems.
Key Responsibilities - Customer Service (Weekends)
* Provide exceptional customer service in person, via phone, and email, handling inquiries and bookings for all GoBoat Australia locations.
* Manage cancellations and rescheduling due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
* Assist on-site teams with customer interactions and provide up-to-date information on availability.
* Support group bookings by coordinating logistics with event organisers.
* Help resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
Location Support:
* Assist with managing inventory for boat parts and merchandise.
* Support location needs such as supplies, repairs, and maintenance coordination.
* Troubleshoot and assist location managers with inquiries (e.g., rosters, logistics).
* Prepare locations for upcoming events and promotional sales.
* Handle negative feedback resolution.
Administrative Support (Weekdays)
Operations Team:
* Record and update assets in the system, ensuring data entry accuracy.
* Maintain open communication with location managers to support their operational needs.
* Manage staff travel logistics (flights, accommodation).
* Participate in weekly meetings, taking notes and updating key stakeholders.
Communications & Marketing Team:
* Assist with document editing and content creation across various locations.
* Support digital ad campaigns (Google, Meta) with data collection and performance tracking.
* Identify events to leverage for promotional media ads.
GoBoat Academy Support:
* Handle inbound and outbound communication (calls, emails).
* Provide general administrative support as needed.
Requirements
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
* Customer service experience, especially handling high-volume inquiries, is preferred.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Weekend availability for customer service support.
Schedule
Weekends: Focus on customer service and on-site support. Available mornings.
Weekdays: Administrative tasks supporting the Operations and Marketing Executive team. Mondays are a must.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $24.38 – $30.76 per hour
