The Member Support Officer (MSO) provides practical, on-the-ground member services across Australia and New Zealand including (but not limited to); training and advice on the RACP education programs, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program and Supervisor Professional Development Program (SPDP); coordination and logistical assistance for local meetings and events; and general member support functions.Some of the MSO's responsibilities include:Providing advice and support to Fellows, supervisors, Directors of Physician Education and trainees on the RACP education programs within NSW and ACTPromulgate and support Fellow engagement in the Colleges CPD programProvide coordination and logistical support for the College’s SPDP programPrepare, coordinate and facilitate Physician Readiness for Expert Practice (PREP) training activities including workshops and PREP information sessions for membersSupport the key state office activities and events for members; e.g. Advanced and Basic Trainee ForumsAct as an ongoing communication channel between Member Engagement & Support and local membershipDesired Skills and ExperienceThe Successful CandidateTo be successful in the role, the incumbent will possess the following skills and attributes:Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in a member services organisationCurrent driver’s licence and own carEffective written and oral communication skillsExperience providing high level member services and supportAbility to facilitate training workshopsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with members from different parts of an organisation/service or businessA commitment to professional customer/member serviceProficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, email and the use of databases.Ability to prioritise and manage deadlinesRecognition of requirements for confidentialityDemonstrated high level skills in managing stakeholder expectations in a complex environmentTo apply, submit your CV by 20 April 2025To view the position description, visit here.For any further enquiries, email recruitment@racp.edu.au
