Led by some of Australia’s most experienced finance and investment professionals, with over 80 staff nationally in Sydney and Melbourne.About the roleThis role focuses on supporting the Direct Clients Desk to drive revenue growth, retain FUM, and deliver exceptional client service. Responsibilities include executing trades, managing platform reporting, and addressing complex client queries. You will collaborate with the Managing Directors on the sales and settlement of direct investment strategies and oversee wholesale deal processes, including bookbuilds, sales, settlement, and referral fee invoicing.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Generation and SalesSupport revenue targets through Placement and Transaction Revenue and growth in Investment Management Revenue.Assist with FUM growth and retention initiatives.Client ManagementMaintain key client relationships and collaborate with the Client Services team on administrative tasks.Share platform intelligence, educate clients, and manage corporate actions alongside Managing Directors.Wholesale Deal FlowOversee bookbuilds and coordinate marketing communications and investor events.Ensure platform security establishment, invoicing, and regular post-transaction reporting to investors.Investment StrategiesBuild expertise in market strategies, fixed-income securities, equity markets, and wholesale-managed portfolios.Institutional RelationshipsSupport institutional relationships by preparing materials, hosting presentations, and managing referral agreements.Deliver quarterly reporting and oversee investment securities on the Mason Stevens platform.Stakeholder EngagementPrepare agendas and reports for weekly team meetings and operational planning.Monitor and report revenue and FUM against budget targets.Budget Tracking and Internal CollateralAssist with budget analysis and maintain revenue trackers.Update investment management FUM and maintain a wholesale deal library.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Banking, Finance, or Economics.Strong analytical and numerical skills with a foundational understanding of financial markets.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in digital tools and platforms.Life at Mason StevensAt Mason Stevens, relationships matter to us, and by leaving our egos at the door, we can realise remarkable outcomes whilst supporting each individual to realise their potential.We are committed to building and maintaining a diverse and talented team, backed by the belief that it is only by working together, that we will achieve our purpose; helping our Clients to realise better tomorrows.We believe in keeping our ‘minds wide open’ and empowering people with the resources and trust needed to make a meaningful difference.
