We support people living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs, and older Australians. About the role
We currently have casual positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Professionals to join our team. You will need to be friendly, positive, and demonstrate client-focused behavior, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Variety of shifts available including weekends and active overnights
* Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
* Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties
* Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support
* Providing support with academic, social, or recreational activities
* Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting with medications
* Observing, caring for, and reporting any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
* Responding to emergency situations
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
* Current National Police Check
* Current First Aid & CPR certificates
* Current Working With Children's Check/ NDIS workers screening card
