Leading from the front, and supported by the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, this role provides the perfect next role for an ambitious and guest focused professional. About the role: The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading and providing interactive service to all guests. In collaboration with the F&B Operations Manager and Executive Chef, this role sets the tone for exceptional dining experiences. To be a successful candidate you must be available to work over a 7 day roster rotating roster, particularly nights and weekends, and is responsible for: Managing and supervising the restaurant team and service Ensuring superior restaurant service is provided to all guests Overseeing the operational efficiency of the shift, including effective supervision and training Maximising revenue opportunities and maintaining cost controls across Josephs restaurant Curating seasonal beverage lists Training and development of the team About you: The successful candidate will have: Experience in a similar role working in restaurants Availability to work nights to manage dinner service A strong guest focus with excellent communication and customer service skills Energetic and driven, able to motivate and lead a team to achieve desired outcomes Flexible and reliable Hands on Lead by example and have your finger on the pulse. Able to see the 'bigger picture' whilst attending to day to day needs of the department/hotel.
