The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, housing, community initiatives and regional services reform.
The Role
As a Clinical Services Manager within the Disability Justice Service team you will provide clinical supervision and leadership to a team of multi-disciplinary clinicians to deliver positive behaviour support interventions, using person-centred practice, and employing evidence-based models, to support individuals with disability interfacing with the justice system.
The role develops and contributes to the strategic planning, program and policy development of the service and contributes professional skills and knowledge, including discipline specific expertise, to enhance team functioning and development and to encourage positive results for individuals.
This position works in conjunction with a range of stakeholders, including individuals, families, Disability Sector Organisations, guardians and/or advocates and other agencies (both government and non-government).
The Opportunity

Qualification Requirements
Qualifications in one of the following:
9. Tertiary qualification in psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and 'General Registration' as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
10. Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and 'General Registration' as an Occupational Therapist with the AHPRA;
11. Tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligible for ‘Ordinary Membership’ with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); or
12. Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligible for ‘Certified Practising Membership’ with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
