This includes taking stewardship of the research investment philosophy and implementation. You will work with the Portfolio Managers in Australian Equities to identify and analysis opportunities, incorporate AI into investment and portfolio management, prepare reports, facilitate trading, foster a collaborative team and develop new talent.As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for the following: Qualitative Research: Conduct research to support portfolio management and broader investment initiatives.AI Integration: Incorporate AI into investment and portfolio management to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and innovation.Investment Opportunities: Proactively develop, review, and refine investment opportunities.Tool Development: Create tools to streamline portfolio construction and the overall investment process.Fund Implementation: Assist in the efficient implementation of the Fund's investment arrangements and stay updated on industry developments.Report Preparation: Prepare reports for UniSuper's Investment Committee, external reviews, and other monthly reports.Research Papers: Contribute to the compilation of research papers and other publications for both internal and external use.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other asset class teams within the investments department.About youAs an experienced Investment Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to work with one of the best in house investment teams in the industry.To be successful in this role you will have:Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to form strong professional relationships with investment team members.Presentation and Analytical Skills: Exhibit excellent presentation skills, including the ability to summarise results and provide insight, coupled with strong financial modelling, analytical, and quantitative skills.Technical Proficiency: Possess a high degree of numeracy, computer literacy, sound information technology skills, and the ability to develop, program, and implement quantitative models.Attention to Detail and Self-Motivation: Show self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively, meet deadlines, and function effectively both in a team and autonomously.Investment Analysis Experience: Bring investment analysis and/or research experience within the investment and/or superannuation industries, ideally including experience in researching fund managers and developing and analysing financial models.Qualifications and Professional Development: Hold post-graduate and professional qualifications, along with extensive industry experience.We take a long-term outlook and will invest in our employee's development and training with a personal development plan and yearly funding to support your career goals.We're passionate about knowledge and sharing it amongst our members and our employees so believe 60% in office is the best way to collaborate and build relationships with your colleagues whilst offering flexibility.If you feel you have the experience and skills required for this role, please apply!Think Great.
