The Opportunity: As a Payroll Officer, you will manage payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing, compliance with regulations, and financial reporting.
You will work closely with HR and Finance, supporting budgeting and enquiries related to employee pays.
Key Responsibilities: Process fortnightly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Maintain payroll records, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Manage superannuation contributions and compliance.Provide payroll advice to management and employees.Work collaboratively with Finance and HR teams.This is a permanent, part-time opportunity based in Bairnsdale.
You'll work to the following roster: Week 1 – Monday to Thursday, Week 2 – Tuesday to Friday.
What We're Looking For: Formal qualifications and/or experience in payroll or accounting using a computerized system, with strong knowledge of workplace agreements and legislation.Ability to meet strict deadlines independently while ensuring high accuracy and confidentiality.Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively across all levels and provide excellent customer service.If successful, you will need to undertake a police check.
You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
