About us:
The 30-bed interim care unit at Bolton Clarke Sunset Ridge Residential Aged Care Facility operates 24/7 and is designed for maintenance patients. It features two wings: Seahorse, which is a secure area, and Starfish, which is non-secure. The unit caters to individuals who no longer need acute hospital care but cannot return home, providing support for their transition to a Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or to the community with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) assistance.
About the role:
Design, implement and evaluate a variety of recreational, diversional and social activities to improve or maintain the physical and mental function of the patients of Sunset Ridge Interim Care unit.
About you:
While not mandatory, it is highly desirable that the applicant possess, or be working towards, one of the following qualifications: Advanced Certificate in Disability Studies Certificate IV in Health and Community Services (Diversional Therapy) Certificate IV in Community Services (Community Work) Certificate IV in Diversional Therapy Certificate IV in Community Services – Leisure and Lifestyle Certificate IV in Leisure and Health Trade level equivalent qualifications What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $93,539 p.a. is comprised of:
