The Opportunity
Due to internal restructuring, Cleanaway has multiple opportunities available for experienced Workshop Supervisors across Western Australia (e.g Karratha, Mandurah, Perth Metro)
The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of all fleet/equipment maintenance generally, but specifically responsible for the daily supervision of the vehicles and employees involved in the workshop. The position will achieve agreed objectives concerning operating efficiencies, productivity, equipment acquisition and maintenance as well as ensuring that costs are controlled within the set budget levels.
Lead the workshop and equipment functions through both internal resources and outsourced subcontractors to ensure appropriate systems and resources are in place to deliver reliable cost-effective services
Upgrade the standard of equipment through the development of medium to long-term fleet plans
Implement systems that ensure all Company property, equipment and machinery is kept up to the standard needed for safe and efficient operation, and that only qualified and authorised persons are carrying out installation, repairs, maintenance, servicing or modifications
Arrange registration and third-party insurance for all Company vehicles
Provide administrative control by overseeing the JDE purchasing function for workshop activities
Monitor and contribute to fleet and equipment compliance with Cleanaway standards
About You
We're looking for trade-qualified Workshop Supervisors with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and sustainability.

Experience in leading and supervising fleet or equipment workshops
Strong track record in safety leadership and performance
Experience within the waste management or transport industry, preferred
Demonstrated ability to work within budgetary guidelines
Background in heavy vehicle maintenance
HR or HC licence essential
Frontline Leadership qualification, desirable
