The Client Executive is an intermediate-level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The AVP Client Executive also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients. The overall objective of this role is to act as strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver client satisfaction and enhanced financial results through the management of service/operational issues impacting the target clients.
2. Identify clients’ business needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value and cross-selling Citi products.
3. Perform regular service reviews and develop actions plans to address issues/deliver solutions as well as perform regular face-to-face client meetings.
4. Coordinate internal resources.
5. Coordinate and ensure client participation in external surveys and incorporate survey results.
6. Lead strong governance and controls.
7. Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
8. Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.
9. Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation
10. Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
11. Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by the role.
12. Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for the role, within the appropriate timeframe.
13. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
14. 5-8 years of relevant experience.
15. Prior experience in the financial industry preferred.
16. Proven analytical and organization skills.
17. Series 7 and 63 licenses
