As a Support Worker, you’ll be a trusted companion and problem-solver, helping individuals maintain their dignity, independence, and connection to their communities.
Due to personal care needs and privacy preferences, this position requires mature female support workers to ensure the highest level of comfort and privacy.
Permanent part-time roles with a minimum of 10 guaranteed hours per fortnight, increasing as your roster builds.
We are currently recruiting for the following and have more than one position:
Rosters may include:
* Early morning starts varied from 6.30am onwards.
* Weekday and Weekend support shifts with varied finish times, finishing approx. 8pm.
* Overnight sleep shifts – Kwinana area.
* Domestic support.
What You’ll Do:
* Provide specialist care for individuals who may live with dementia, memory loss, and palliative needs.
* Support with daily living activities, including personal care (bathing, toileting, grooming), hoisting, and mealtime management support.
* Assist with household tasks including domestic tasks, meal preparation, shopping, personal care, and medication support.
* Help customers stay engaged with their families, friends, and local community.
* Think on your feet and find creative solutions to everyday challenges.
We offer on-the-job training and buddy shifts to help you pick up all the skills you need!
What You Need:
* Relevant experience in working with aging, dementia, memory loss, disability; high intensity and complex care or children and young people.
* Problem-solving skills and a calm, mature approach.
* Working with Children clearance.
* A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
* NDIS Worker Screening check (or willingness to obtain one).
* A positive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for meaningful work.
