About the Opportunity:
The School of Performing Arts at John Paul College has a far-reaching reputation for the outstanding professionalism of our productions and performances, the success of our Alumni and the quality of our Performing Arts specialist teachers.
Most recently, JPC was announced as Australia's Performing Arts School of the Year 2021, by the Australian Performing Arts Teachers Association (APATA).
The core of the School of Performing Arts is the tuition program where students from a young age can participate in group and private instrumental, vocal and dance lessons on a weekly basis.
To continue to support this extensive program, we are seeking expression of interest applications from Coaches, Tutors and event support personnel to join us in our ongoing commitment to Educate, to Inspire, and to Make a Difference to the lives of the students at the College.
Our performing arts program offers paid opportunities for tutors in-
* Brass, Woodwind and Percussion
* Guitar, Bass and Drum Kit
* Piano and Vocal
* Strings
Our performing arts program offers paid opportunities for Coaches in-
* Cheer
* Choral
* Dance
* Drama
We also have paid opportunities for support roles in the following areas:
* Technical operations
* A/V
* Events
Our comprehensive Primary and Senior school performance program is dedicated to excellence. Through Concert Bands, Orchestras (Wind, String and Symphony), Contemporary Rock Bands, Jazz Bands, Marching Band, Chamber Ensembles, Choirs, Theatre Groups, Dance and Cheer teams, we nurture talent, practise to perfection, and create unforgettable experiences for every student.
