With multiple sites across Eastern Australia and New Zealand, they offer specialised blending, packaging, and delivery services to a range of agribusinesses.With the recent launch of their Toowoomba industrial plant, a skilled Area Sales Manager is required to drive company growth between Bundaberg and Moree.The RoleThe Area Sales Manager will play a vital role in strengthening relationships with current customers, whilst proactively engaging with new agribusinesses between Bundaberg and Moree. Overseeing sales from initial quoting through to delivery, this is a self-managed position which will require routine travel in order to best service the region.With a majority of the region focussing on Broadacre Cropping - with some high-value Horticulture to the north – the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for generating sales strategies in line with current market trends and seasonal demands.Working Monday to Friday, your duties will include (but not be limited to):Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market share and customer engagement.Managing clients through the sales process from lead engagement to post-delivery services.Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management team.Attending various conferences, seminars, field days, and other industry events.About YouProactive and organised, this role will best suit someone with proven experience managing sales activities across a wide region. In order to effectively engage potential customers in the region, it's important for the successful applicant to have strong agricultural knowledge, and the ability to build rapport within the industry.Our ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years' experience operating in the Darling Downs region, possessing a wider understanding of local market demands, seasonal requirements, and a general understanding of where to direct sales strategies.
