The key purpose of the position is to provide efficient, lean and responsive administrative support for the delivery the school’s teaching and assessment programs.The position will be responsible for creating effective relationships working with internal and external stakeholders to support the efficient delivery of the medicine program in Burnie. The position will have a range of administrative responsibilities including monitoring student compliance, organising student placements, assisting with timetabling and supporting the delivery of examinations and assessments.What you’ll do:Complete a broad range of administrative duties to assist in the delivery of the Medicine Program in Burnie.Participate as part of a high performing team to deliver exceptional service to students, academics, visiting clinicians and patient partners.Use and access systems within the University, in accordance with the UTAS and College of Health and Medicine guidelines.Consult with and provide accurate advice to academic staff and students on course-related information, university policies and procedures either face to face or through written correspondence.Apply a Lean methodology to your work, identifying and implementing continuous improvement.Undertake other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.What we’re looking for:High level administrative skills including good organisation and prioritisation skills, together with the ability to perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail within specified timeframes.Strong skills in a range of software applications, including word-processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email and the internet as a resource.Excellent customer service with experience in focusing on and understanding client needs.Well-developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and to work as an effective member of a team.Ability to be flexible and adaptable to cope with changing work methods and working environment.Salary detailsAppointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $88,479 comprising base salary within the range of $71,387 to $75,623 plus 17% superannuation.How to ApplyTo apply online, please provide your CV and 1-2-page cover letter outlining your interest in the role, skills, capabilities and experience.
