Position: Chef
Reports To: Head Chef
Responsible For:
- Menu Planning and Development
- Ensure all dishes are prepared with correct timings and in line with menu specifications
- Prepare high-quality dishes
- Order supplies,
- Handle any food-related concerns.
Main duties:
- Designing and creating menus that reflect the restaurant’s style and target audience.
- Updating and revising menus based on seasonal ingredients, trends, and customer feedback.
- Preparing high-quality dishes in a timely manner.
- Ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Supervising kitchen staff and ensuring they adhere to recipes and standards.
- Delegating tasks to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
- Managing stock levels and minimizing waste.
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer requests in a professional and timely manner
- Promote the employers services
