Free parking onsitePermanent part time - 60 hours/fortnight or Casual roles availableThe Opportunity Our Perioperative Leadership Team are seeking motivated individuals to work in a dynamic and fulfilling role as a Theatre Orderly & Assistant in Nursing, within our busy perioperative Team.
This role will be suitable to a person with some Orderly experience, especially in theatres.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Facilitating Operating Theatre set up including equipment and operating table prior to and in-between casesPositioning and transfer of patients on the Operating TableCleaning of Operating Theatre in between casesTransport of the patient between DSU/Theatre/PACUStocking and management of linen, fluids and other items needed for the Operating TheatresRemoval of Operating Department rubbish and used linen to the waste management areaOrganising the ordering and retrieval of VMO meals for the dayAbout You You will be a robust person with a sound understanding of the Healthcare environment, preferably in relation to the perioperative area or a willingness to develop this.
You will have an excellent understanding of WH&S, be focused on providing an efficient and safe shift and be able to respond to daily operational changes with a calm and supportive disposition.
Training will be given for those that do not have experience as a Theatre Orderly.

Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment.
Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
