Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following.
1. Provide technical product advice and post-sales support to internal and external customers.
2. Assist and support sales with execution of sales plans including preparation and definition of product specifications, project management, selection and cross reference of components, provision of data sheets, instructions, and quotations.
3. Work closely with sales leaders of the selling organizations OEM (cooling and heating), Commercial Buildings (Heating) and Electronic Controls and Services (data and controls for refrigeration retailers).
4. Assist with managing of sales pipelines through Sales Force.
5. Provide technical support as well as backup to customers on commissioning support (including creating and maintaining customer drawings and specifications), product queries and technical issues and processing of service/warranty claims.
6. Conduct product training for internal/external sales, customers, wholesalers, sales partners and service partners.
7. Provide engineering advice to consultants, mechanical contractors, system integrators and refrigeration retailer.
8. Work with marketing to create necessary tools and literature for Pacific market, including development and implementation of product bulletins, announcements and case study material for wholesale, OEMs. System integrators and refrigeration retailers.
9. Communicate and coordinate activities with factory or suppliers outstanding issues, requirements, or product launches.
10. Carry out activities in accordance with Danfoss quality procedures.
11. Liaise and maintain effective networks with Danfoss product specialists in the APR region and Globally.
12. Understand and analyse competitor information and liaise with required internal stakeholders both locally and overseas.
13. Be available to attend meetings, conferences & technical presentations to customers local & overseas.

14. Bachelor /Diploma of engineering or Refrigeration trade qualifications.
15. 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
16. High-level knowledge of product application in cooling systems, including testing; measurement equipment; electrical and mechanical codes, refrigeration/mechanical componentry, and principles.
17. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,, SAP and other database systems.
18. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
19. Fluency in English with strong communication and negotiation skills.
20. Australian citizen or permanent resident.
21. Ability to work with international teams in a global matrix organization.
22. Cooperative and excellent interpersonal skills.
