Safety Partner - Goulburn

The Role:
You will play a crucial role in providing expert WHS knowledge and advisory services to portfolio clients. This position requires the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive a proactive safety culture.
You will support continuous improvement in workplace safety, add value to business units, and contribute to achieving business and workforce performance goals.
Nsw Ambulance is currently undergoing a period of growth and transformational change. The successful candidate will be pivotal in contributing to the operational delivery of key work health and safety programs, including the launch of a new safety strategy, the implementation of a new safety management system aligned to ISO45001 and 45003, delivery of a key risk and critical control framework, and targeted programs for operational risks.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require the following experience and attributes:
• Drive a safety culture that positively influences morale and achieves a safe and healthy work environment across Nsw Ambulance.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, WHS regulations, and Safety Management Systems, with experience in incident investigation, risk management, and high-risk environments.
• Ability to influence, train, and collaborate with frontline workers, leadership teams, and regulators.
• Confident in escalating safety concerns and managing workforce engagement in a regulated environment.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple locations while contributing to key safety projects.
• Experience in implementing and developing safety initiatives and management systems, analysing data, and driving continuous improvement.
• Contribute to and deliver programs to eliminate and/or control risks, reduce injury and illness, and improve work health and safety performance, managing issues to achieve the expected performance, benefits, and value.
• Establish and maintain effective business partnerships through customer engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
