Do you have what it takes to become a Smartgroup Site Reliability Engineer?
We are looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the availability, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of our solutions.Reduce toil through automation by determining what to automate, under what conditions, and how to automate it.Support the creation of "refactoring and repair debt" opportunities to be prioritized and tracked in the product backlog.Facilitate Problem in Reviews (PIR) to drive continuous improvement and identify "repair" opportunities for the team.Enable end-to-end visibility of applications by managing logging and monitoring/alert systems to identify opportunities to reduce toil and automate inefficiencies.Collaborate with Product Owners to negotiate priorities in backlogs, ensuring a fair balance between bugs, features, refactoring, automation, and maintenance.Provide reporting on system availability, performance, and improvements to both internal and external stakeholders.Who you are:
3-5 years of experience in software engineering using modern programming languages.Experience in software engineering best practices.Experience with Azure Pipelines.Proficiency in orchestration, automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices such as Agile/Iterative.Belong to an organisation that values diversity, inclusivity, and you:
