Job Description The Principal Project Advisor will have the following responsibilities: Providing strategic advice on complex projects within the Engineering department. Managing project plans, timelines, budgets, and risks. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met. Ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Facilitating communication between project teams, management, and stakeholders. Reporting on project progress and outcomes to senior management. Identifying and implementing improvements to project management practices. Contributing to the development of strategic plans and objectives. The Successful Applicant The successful Principal Project Advisor should have: Relevant degree in Engineering or a related field. Proven technical experience gained within the rolling stock industry. Proven experience in strategic advice and project management within the public sector. Strong skills in managing complex projects, with a focus on delivering results. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
