Health, Safety & Environment (Construction) Full time The Role: Our client, a leading Occupational Health & Hygiene consultancy, is seeking a Senior Occupational Hygienist to take charge of occupational hygiene projects while fostering business growth.
This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on workplace safety by managing exposure risks and contributing to the success of diverse clients.
You will be part of a client-focused team, who specialise in Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Management and Occupational Hygiene at various workplaces.
The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored health and hygiene solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct occupational exposure assessments to manage workplace health risks.
Design and execute occupational hygiene monitoring programs, focusing on noise, air quality, and lighting.
Lead building condition surveys and assessments for asbestos and hazardous materials.
Produce detailed risk assessments and develop scopes of work.
Further develop existing respiratory fit-testing, audiometry, and spirometry programs.
Identify and pursue marketing and business development opportunities across industries.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and hygiene standards and regulations.
Mentor and support junior staff, enhancing the professional growth of the team.
About You: Provisional or full member of the AIOH.
Formal qualifications in Occupational Hygiene or related fields (chemistry, physics, or engineering).
Proven experience in occupational hygiene-related work.
Strong report writing, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Attention to detail and responsiveness to client needs.
Flexibility to travel as required.
