Job Description Summary
You will deliver and supervise all facilities maintenance duties at Cranbourne East Primary School.
About the Role
You will deliver and supervise all facilities maintenance duties at the school, ensuring the provision of a safe work environment for the staff and students, following practices and procedures from Cushman & Wakefield. This role will provide for all planned and reactive building, grounds, and gardens maintenance in accordance with the contract requirements and standards.
What You Will Do
1. Perform general grounds and gardens maintenance duties including sweeping/blowing debris from pathways and synthetic turf.
2. Complete broad maintenance tasks as required (handyman duties) e.g., adjusting doors, changing light globes, emptying recycled paper bins around the school to the skip.
3. Collect mail for the school from the local Post Office.
4. Monitor and complete daily and ad-hoc facility maintenance requests from the database and arrange for contractor attendance when required.
5. Provide site activity reports each week and close out work orders raised within KPI.
6. Ensure all visitors and contractors sign in via the Cushman & Wakefield QR system.
7. Ensure all attending contractors have completed the contract induction when signing into the onsite sign-in register.
8. Manage contractor movement within school grounds.
About You
1. You would have an interest in a mixture of outdoor grounds work and indoor handyman work.
2. Demonstrated experience working at critical sites/grounds.
3. A common-sense approach and initiative.
4. Standard experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
5. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to think in an autonomous fashion when needed.
6. Self-motivated to enhance the school and business with great attention to detail.
7. Quality and continuous improvement focus.
8. Victorian Driver’s license and technical qualifications in either mechanical or electrical fields.
9. Working with Children’s Check and Police check – Mandatory.
