This role is based at Cairns Family Store and is responsible for handling the movement of goods in and out of the store. The role will also provide assistance in the overall productivity of the Family Stores, in line with TSA mission.
This position is part-time permanent with 15.2 hours a week, based in Woree, CAIRNS.
You will successfully:
Coordinate the pickup/delivery of all donated goods as per the instructions from the relevant Family Store Manager and in accordance with the written schedule, as per all WH&S manual handling procedures/protocols.
Provide a weekly planner to the Family Store Manager outlining planned pick-ups and deliveries.
Ensure daily pickups and deliveries recorded in the logbook are accurate, comprehensive, and up to date.
Undertake pickups, deliveries, loading, and unloading of truck contents with care, as directed and within appropriate timelines in accordance with the written schedule.
You must have:
Minimum 2 years experience in driving/operating commercial vehicles.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Current valid QLD Driver’s Licence.
First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
A reasonable level of fitness to carry out the duties of the position, including the physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time, push, pull, lift, carry, restrain stock, and climb ladders, in accordance with WH&S policies and procedures.
Salary is in accordance with General retail – Level 2.
