A new opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join an international manufacturing company in a 3 month contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide purchasing (Intercompany and Outsourced) support for the Australian business by driving continuous improvement activities in the purchasing function. Key functions of the role include (but are not limited to):
1. Ensuring goods are available in a timely manner.
2. Collaborating with stakeholders to address timeframe of orders and ensuring an efficient transition from P2P process.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / PERSON PROFILE:
1. Relevant experience in a Customer Service/ Supply Chain role
2. SAP working knowledge, specifically as a MRP tool, P2P Process
3. High level of competence in Microsoft Excel
4. Comfortable in interacting with Senior Managers
