We are seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Product Delivery and Platforms to lead the development and implementation of purpose-driven delivery models that enhance the experiences of students and staff. This role is pivotal in defining and consolidating roadmaps, maturing delivery practices, and driving innovation through digital transformation, including leveraging AI. The Director will oversee teams delivering services across the student and staff lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and seamless service delivery. Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, governance, performance optimisation, and resource management to achieve high-quality outcomes, successful product delivery, and exceptional user experiences. Day-to-day accountabilities: Includes but are not limited to: Leadership, Planning and Strategic Delivery: Achieve a well-defined and executed strategic roadmap that drives organisational growth, enhances educational and staff experiences, and ensures the successful delivery of high-quality products and services. Agile/Squad Delivery Model: Achieve a high level of agility and responsiveness in product delivery, resulting in faster time-to-market, improved product quality, and enhanced educational and staff experiences. Practice Maturity: Establish a robust and mature delivery framework that enhances efficiency, quality, and consistency across all product delivery activities, supporting superior educational and staff outcomes. Product and Platform Roadmaps: Deliver a clear and actionable product strategy and roadmap that drives business growth, meets stakeholder expectations, and enhances educational and staff outcomes. Stakeholder Management: Achieve high levels of stakeholder satisfaction and engagement, ensuring that their educational needs and staff expectations are met. Customer Focus: Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, resulting in positive user experiences and long-term relationships, particularly in the educational and staff context. Who you are: You are an experienced leader with a strong background in digital and technology, bringing over 15 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles. You have a proven track record of driving innovation, implementing digital transformation initiatives, and delivering impactful results in complex environments. Key Skills and Experience: Industry Experience: Minimum 15 years in digital and technology, with at least 5 years in leadership roles. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in agile methodologies, cloud computing platforms, software development, and QA processes, with knowledge of cybersecurity, AI, and digital transformation technologies. Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and adapt to changing technology landscapes. Analytical Abilities: Expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis, financial modelling, and using metrics and KPIs to drive IT performance and business impact.
