If you would like to make a positive contribution to children, adolescents, adults, and their families and communities – then our team would like to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and report on communication and swallowing disorders, organise and implement treatment for participants, and work with staff and families/caregivers on possible intervention strategies. Advocating for communication support for participants with communication difficulties. Providing mealtime management plans and helping to improve mealtimes. Select and utilise appropriate evidence-based practices and service delivery methods and review regularly. Requirements: Professional qualification in Speech Pathology with an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or a willingness to attain it. Knowledge of NDIS and participant/family centred practices is desirable Current driver’s licence National Police Check (no older than 3 months) Current or ability to apply for Working with Vulnerable People Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check What we offer: Community focused employer.
