Job Overview:
Hempiddy is seeking a motivated and results-driven Hemp Beverage Sales Representative to lead sales efforts and expand our presence in the rapidly growing hemp beverage market across the Tidewater region of Virginia. This role will focus on securing new territory, building strategic partnerships with breweries, restaurants, bars, and other high-volume sales locations, and driving brand awareness and product placement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Territory Expansion:
o Identify and secure new sales opportunities within the Tidewater region, including Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Hampton, and surrounding areas.
o Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximize market penetration and brand presence.
2. Account Management:
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at breweries, restaurants, bars, and other high-traffic venues.
o Provide product education and training to ensure successful product placement and sales growth.
o Act as the main point of contact for all accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and product satisfaction.
3. Sales and Revenue Growth:
o Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
o Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive sales and increase market share.
o Monitor sales performance and market trends, providing regular reports and insights to management.
4. Brand Promotion and Event Support:
o Represent Hempiddy at industry events, tastings, and trade shows to promote brand awareness.
o Collaborate with marketing and production teams to support product launches and promotional activities.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in sales, preferably in the beverage, cannabis, or hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of the Tidewater market and key players in the bar, restaurant, and brewery industry.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Tidewater region.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in the hemp or cannabis industry.
* Understanding of state regulations and compliance related to hemp-based products.
* Background in beverage distribution or wholesale sales.
