Key Responsibilities: • Disassemble, clean, and paint Lycoming and Continental Piston Aircraft Engines/parts and associated components.• Maintain workshop tooling in accordance with working specifications and conditions.• Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping.• Execute work in line with quality procedures and safety requirements.• Identify and report hazards promptly. Qualifications and Experience: • Mechanical aptitude is required, prior experience is advantageous.• Experience in this field can vary significantly; remuneration is based on the candidates' mechanical aptitude• Additional employment opportunities exist within the workshop, with remuneration and progression based on the candidates' proficiency in piston engine reconditioning and engineering skills. Essential Requirements: • Ability to work autonomously, efficiently and always maintaining a commitment to quality and safety.• A current valid driver's license (manual preferred).• Capability to perform in a physically demanding role. • Sound written and verbal communication skills.• Adherence to Safe Work Procedures and Company Policies.• Regulatory requirement for successful completion of Pre-Employment and ongoing Drug and Alcohol Screens.
