Our client is a newly established government organisation seeking a HR generalist with strong people and performance experience to work in a growing office. This is a hands-on role working under government processes and policies, where you will provide high-level value-add expertise to staff in a range of complex People and performance activities.
This position will develop and implement customer-focused HR services that drive best practice talent policies, programs, and tools. Importantly, you will be effective in building partnerships with senior leaders and offer strategic advice to the senior leadership team by analysing workforce planning data, fostering continuous improvement, and assisting with the design, development, and implementation of a new performance management system that supports managers and team members.
The role will help implement and establish HR systems, policies, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with legislation. You will implement workplace culture and diversity, equity, and inclusion, and work closely with the GM Corporate Services and CEO to drive a high-performance culture.
Minimum Requirements: Suitable candidates will ideally have experience in a government organisation managing the prioritization of timely HR advice and have extensive HR generalist experience. You will have experience in training and development and Industrial Relations, reviewing, operationalising, and establishing policies and procedures. You must be an Australian Citizen, and understanding of government policies and processes is desirable.
