Payroll Officer | Local Council | South Brisbane - Immediate Start
Your new role
In this role you will report to the senior payroll officer. Duties may include:
* First point of contact for payroll queries, provide advice, support, enquiry resolution and response to error identification
* Prepare and input payroll and HR information. Accurate time sheet processing, schedules, leave applications, wage classification and higher duties.
* Processing weekly pay
* Provide payroll information
* Prepare forms and reports in relation to payroll deductions e.g. Child Support, Centrelink, taxation and related correspondence.
* Maintain knowledge of Payroll and Kronos.
What you'll need to succeed
* Must have experience as a Payroll Officer processing medium to large pay runs
* Proactive attitude and ability to hit the ground running
* Experience in either SAP Payroll, Kronos Timekeeping or Successfactors
* Short or no notice period
What you'll get in return
