About your role: Provide general Human Resource and Employee Relations advice and support to management and employees within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service across a broad range of human resource management disciplines. Effectively manage human resource management casework and project work, under the guidance of the Senior Human Resource Business Partners. Key focus areas include grievances and investigations; appeals; discipline; anti-discrimination, equity and diversity; voluntary early retirement and ill health retirement; and strategies to promote a supportive work environment, positive work culture and improved capacity to manage work/life balance in client group. Utilise and ensure compliance with contemporary human resource management practice and principles including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination requirements.
