We provide high quality and person-centred clinical management for clients with limb deficiencies of all levels, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular deformities, ranging from cosmetic transfer prostheses to myoelectric and bionic limbs.The RoleWe require a Prosthetic Technician to be a key player in the manufacturing of prosthetic limbs according to the guidelines, protocol, and policies of Caulfield Hospital and Alfred Health.You will have good hand skills and technical experience in P&O but also from another profession, industry or the arts with an understanding of occupational health and safety practices. You are motivated, innovative and compassionate with strong interpersonal skills and enjoy taking responsibility and pride in your work and your work environment. You will have some general knowledge of rehabilitation and prosthetic management. You require a strong commitment to evidence-based, self-reflective and best-practice prosthetic technical service provision and to professional development. You will demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills and a commitment to contribute to the supportive team environment.
