About The Role
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
1. Coordinating clinical staff in designated areas during each shift.
2. Maintaining and promoting high-quality care for aged care residents according to Aged Care Standards and best practices.
3. Collecting and reporting information, and completing assessments to inform nursing care plans and funding submissions.
4. Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships within the service and with external healthcare teams.
This role requires at least 12 months of post-graduate Australian aged care experience, as well as current AHPRA registration. Strong computer literacy and knowledge of industry issues are also essential. Experience in infection control, palliative care or wound care would be advantageous.
