Job Description
The Southern Maintenance Facility is a hub of activity, where the Field Maintenance team operates with precision and dedication. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading this team to achieve outstanding results.
Reporting directly to the Field Maintenance Superintendent, you will oversee the coordination of maintenance activities on a large fleet of equipment, including 2x electric rope shovels, 2x 9800 Liebherr excavators, a fleet of Hitachi excavators, and 8x production drills. Your focus will be on ensuring all work is completed as planned, while delivering exceptional safety and quality outcomes.
About the Role
* Coordinate the activities of the Field Maintenance team to minimize production disruptions caused by equipment failures.
* Drive continuous business improvement and quality assurance of maintenance performance.
* Supervise maintenance supervisors in the South workshop and facilities, ensuring all work is completed as scheduled to quality and safety standards.
* Offer coaching and support to your team to drive high performance.
* Be accountable for advising a team of maintainers and supervisors to achieve agreed maintenance goals.
* Provide a high level of support to the Maintenance Superintendent to ensure the overall mine plan is achieved within deadlines.
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will also be responsible for maintaining a safe workplace, providing visible leadership, and coordinating the Field Maintenance team to achieve agreed KPIs. You will establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, direct the supervisors of sub-contractors working within your area of responsibility, and roster personnel as needed.

About You
* A relevant trade or tertiary qualifications.
* Strong maintenance experience and proven success in a similar role.
* Previous experience working with Electric Shovels, Excavators & Drills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Act and Regulations, and relevant Codes of Practice.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Computer literacy in Excel and Word are also required with proven experience.
* Experience in Project and SAP is also highly desired.
* Demonstrated understanding of safety and risk systems.
