About the role The Project Manager is responsible for organising and supervising trades involved in reinstatement works. The role is essential to the success of the claim and remains the point of contact for our clients, their customers, and our sub-contractors. You will work closely with a number of key people to drive successful outcomes in line with industry-specific KPI's and Service Level Agreements. Skills and experience: Diploma of Building & Construction or a related discipline. Experience in a commercial construction environment. Minimum 3 years trade/Building Supervision experience. Exposure to a variety of commercial projects. Proficient skills in project scheduling and contractor management. Proficient skills in time management and task prioritisation. Strong communicator with a focus on stakeholder management. Intermediate computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Project, and using a tablet PC on the go with intermediate typing skills. Role and responsibilities: Manage construction projects to meet safety, cost, time, and quality objectives. Ensuring scopes of works are accurate prior to works commencing. Engage and manage trades to meet time and budget criteria. Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met. Occasional interstate travel to other offices, to assist in the increased workloads following major events may be required. This role will require excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on the ability to influence business and external stakeholders.
