Stantec Community Development team is seeking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer in our Darwin office. We have a strong pipeline of work in land, urban and subdivision and are seeking to grow the technical and leadership capabilities to manage this growth.
About the role
This role includes project design and delivery across a range of projects and sectors. Projects range from early concept design and master planning through to detailed design and construction documentation. The role will require independent design, project delivery and stakeholder management.
The role will suit someone who has a good technical design background, strong consulting engineering and project delivery skills, including clear knowledge of standards and processes.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Civil design mainly relating to urban, land, buildings and subdivisions
Construction phase support, design review, stakeholder management, liaison with authorities, reporting, contract administration and quality audits.
Liaising with engineers, designers, and drafters
Adhering to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures.
Managing clients and other consultants.
Assist with project management and business development.
Support Project Leaders Managers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Demonstrated experience in the civil engineering related to design and delivery of urban, land, buildings and subdivisions
Knowledge of applicable Australian standards, codes and state requirements
Obtain CP Eng and NT Registration as soon as eligible
Eligible to obtain Defence baseline security clearance
